Orvion started because I kept seeing the same thing. Businesses were being told they needed AI, and nobody had asked what problem it was supposed to solve.

I hold a degree in electronic engineering and I am a certified Project Management Professional. My career started in IT and hospitality technology, then moved into operations and project management. One project that shaped how I work was the IT modernization work connected to the Bahamas Gaming Board, as its systems were brought in line with the new Gaming Act.
That kind of project teaches you that technology is rarely the hard part. The hard part is the people, the handoffs and the habits around it. Most of what we do at Orvion is about those.
In 2018 I started Green Tree Productions, a video company in Nassau. Running it means hitting fixed dates for clients who only get one wedding day or one event, and running a small team around that. It is also where I learned how much of a business can be quietly eaten by admin.
I started Orvion to bring both sides together: the engineering and project discipline, and the practical experience of running a small business in the Bahamas.
How we think about it.
We look at the business first and the technology second. If a spreadsheet and a weekly meeting would solve it, we will tell you that.
We prefer small changes that stick over large programmes that stall. A tool your team uses every day is worth more than a better tool they avoid.
Before we agree to a project, we check that it fits what we can deliver well. If it does not, we say so.
Where we fit best.
We work well with businesses that have several people, several systems and not enough hours: professional services, hospitality, retail and restaurant groups, and organizations with more than one location.
We are most useful when the goal is practical: fewer manual steps, faster replies and records that stay in order.

When a project needs professional video, interviews or event coverage, we bring in Green Tree Productions. It is a separate company with its own track record, so you always know which team you are dealing with.
